Let us tell you a little about us and what we can do for you. My wife and I started
Thaigirls Introductions having met and fallen in love via E-Mail correspondence.
This was followed by my arranging to travel to Thailand to meet and spend time with
her, and ultimately marry. Our agency is not our main source of income, and was started
originally because my wife wanted to introduce some of her own friends to English partners!
At 38 yrs old most of my friends in England had already settled down and so began our agency.
Because we are very happy we genuinely think we can help other couples meet in the same way.
We aim to offer a personal service to our clients which includes translation to Thai
language of correspondence, travel arrangements if required, and accompanied initial
introductions in Thailand.
Thaigirls is based in beautiful Chiang Mai which is in the North of Thailand approximately
300 miles North of Bangkok. The climate is cooler here than in the South and there are some
wonderful excursions and places of interest to see. Chiang Mai is also a relaxing place to
unwind, and an ideal romantic setting to meet a partner.

If you are anything like me you may be quite sceptical about the likely outcome of
joining an introduction agency particularly one so far away from England. Please
let us dispel a few stories you may have heard.
Firstly you will no doubt be aware of the famous "Bar Culture" which exists in
Thailand, you may even know of people whos only interest in visiting Thailand is to spend
time in the bars and of course to meet "Bar Girls". Areas of Bangkok, Phuket and
Pattaya have many Girlie Bars and it is slightly unfortunate that we in the West immediately
associate an entire country with massage parlours, ladyboys and bar girls. In reality the
bars etc tend to be sited in clusters in the popular tourist areas.
What we are saying is of course be aware of the "Bar Scene" but do not allow it to
cloud your opinions of Thailand which is a wonderful country full of history, culture and beauty.
To associate Thailand only with bars is to say that all of London is like Soho. It is nonsense
and most people who will try to tell you otherwise have either never even visited the country,
or as we have said taken the "Package Tour" trip to a typical tourist resort. This is
NOT the real Thailand, any more than Las Vegas is the real America.
You may also have heard and read that Thai brides are available "Mail Order" to our
knowledge there is no such thing as a Mail Order bride from Thailand and anyone appearing to
offer this we feel should be regarded with reservation and suspicion.
Often I have heard it said that a Thai lady would only be interested in meeting a foreign
husband for financial reasons, or because they may want a visa to live in another country.
Sadly there is poverty in Thailand and we know that marriages of convenience do happen,
they happen in every Country in the World where one or other of the partners is seen to be
wealthier than the other. Whilst some may last we do not want anything like this for any of
our members which is why all clients are asked for evidence of employment etc. We are able to do
this because nearly all our lady members join in person many are from Chiang Mai and other
towns nearby. This is also advantageous if you come to visit because the ladies are mainly based
locally to us.
We wish to point out that our service is sincere and genuinely aimed towards finding lifetime
partners for our members. Many couples will wish to become girlfriend / boyfriend. We do not
attempt to influence you and of course accept that not ALL couples will wish to marry. For those
that do wish to tie the knot we are happy to advise on Traditional Thai Weddings and custom,
and offer advice about applying for travel visas etc. We think you should be aware that Thai
ladies generally are looking for a lifetime partner and not casual relations. If you are not
sincerely considering this we would suggest that our agency is not for you.
